THE REGISTRY join hands with the department of Paediatrics and Adolescent Medicine, The University of Hong Kong in organizing the TP53 Love Follows Assistance Programme.TP53 mutation is hereditary and increase risk of breast cancer, sarcomas,leukaemias and brain tumors. This can happen in children as well as in adults. The programme aims at helping family members of children who are found to carry the TP53 gene mutation, by providing genetic tests and MRI body scanning once a year as an early detection measure for family members diagnosed with TP53 gene mutation.
