Art as a Voice: The Registry Collaborates with The Park Lane Hong Kong for Charity Art Exhibition
Featuring Artworks Donated by Lynn Hsieh and Aka Chio to Support Hereditary Breast Cancer Patients
Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (The Registry) collaborates with The Park Lane Hong Kong, a Pullman Hotel to host the "Voices of Art" Charity Art Exhibition. This exhibition features generous donations from socialite and philanthropist Ms. Lynn Hsieh and popular singer-artist Ms. Aka Chio. The event aims to utilize the power of art to raise awareness about the importance of self-care among women and regular breast cancer screenings.
The sale proceeds from the featured artworks, including "Exquisite blossoms" and "To the Next 50," will be entirely dedicated to supporting the Registry's work. Additionally, other artworks will be fully or portably donated to provide comprehensive medical services and public education for high-risk hereditary cancer patients (including breast, ovarian, and prostate cancers) and their families. Furthermore, The Park Lane Hong Kong will launch a "Pink Cake" made with fresh strawberries and passion fruit, with 20% of the cake sales revenue and proceeds from other charity events donated to the Registry. Limited macaron sales will also be launched at hotel lobby, with proceeds, after deducting costs, dedicated to supporting hereditary cancer patients.
Ms. Lynn Hsieh and Ms. Aka Chio each generously donate 9 artworks for charity sale.

The Registry partners with The Park Lane Hong Kong for their 50th anniversary to organize this charitable fundraising event. The exhibition will feature 9 artworks each from Ms. Lynn Hsieh and Ms. Aka Chio, aiming to inspire individuals to prioritize hereditary cancer genetic issues and take proactive action for early detection and prevention. Both artists' works demonstrate their care for hereditary breast cancer and other hereditary cancer patients, hoping for more support from the society.
Ms. Lynn Hsieh specially creates the oil painting " Exquisite blossoms " for the Registry, symbolizing the different support and encouragement women receive on their journey to pursue healthy life. Ms. Hsieh draws inspiration from nature, using elegant purple and vibrant pink to showcase health and brightness under the sunlight. Through her artistic expression, she hopes to support and promote the Registry's mission. She also generously donates all her artworks for the charity sale.
Ms. Aka Chio creates "To the Next 50" for this event, symbolizing The Park Lane Hong Kong's unwavering support for breast cancer patients. About Us
The Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry (“THE REGISTRY”) is the only and first-ever charitable organization. Established in 2007, THE REGISTRY is dedicated to helping the high-risk families who have hereditary risk of breast, ovarian and prostate cancer due to BRCA gene mutations. We also aim to advance and standardize clinical care by formulating preventative measures through data collection, research, public education, counseling and supportive care services in reducing the incidence of hereditary cancers in Chinese population. Currently, THE REGISTRY has the largest database and biobank of hereditary breast cancers specimens in Chinese which would facilitate better understanding of the disease locally and globally.
We have helped over 6,100 individuals (including more than 4,700 index patients) and over 1,200 mutation carriers have been identified. Some of them have been referred for breast surveillance or other support at THE REGISTRY designated high-risk breast clinic for better disease management.
