The annual Pink Ball 'Pink Reflection' organized by the Hong Kong Hereditary Breast Cancer Family Registry was held successfully at the Grand Hyatt Hong Kong on the 29th October, 2016. The charming charity dance by Dr. Partrick Wang was the highlight of the night. Friends and family embraced Dr. Wang with flowers and applauses after the amazing performance which was a truly touching moment. This year, we invited Secretary for Food and Health, Dr Ko Wing-man, BBS, JP as our officiating guest and Professor Peter Mathieson, President and Vice-Chancellor of The University of Hong Kong came to show his support. The Pink Ball raised around $7million which will be used in financing the underserved high risk families to access free genetic testing, counselling services and preventative measures, and to support clinical research to improve the testing and data collection for hereditary cancers in the Chinese community.
